Analysing the results
The questionnaire results should be used to develop your pharmacy service, identifying gaps and improving the bad, and further enhancing the good. You can involve the whole pharmacy team with both the questionnaire and the results, as well as the actions required as a result of feedback.
The clinical governance aspect of the pharmacy may require you in the future to share with your PCT areas where the pharmacy performed poorly (and what is being done to rectify it), as well as areas where it performed well.

You should have finished the 2009/10 survey, and now starting to collate the results and starting to interpret them, with a view to sending them to your local PCT.
Being an essential service, participation is compulsory under the community pharmacy contract in England and Wales, but it is also a great opportunity to find out what your customers think of your services and staff and how it can be improved, it helps future business planning to improve key aspects of service, and ultimately may increase profitability.
If you have a pre-reg for the year, why not get them to conduct the survey and have them meet a lot of their competencies for the year.
